Can Root Canals Cause Blood Poisoning ?

Added Sunday Feb. 24, 2019 after a conversation with another patient who also experienced a condition similar to blood poisoning, from a root canal.

Dear Dr. *

I am writing to ask for your help with tooth pain and an associated infection of Chloridium Mortem.  Death Bacteria.  The anaerobic bacteria that are given a habitat by the practice of root canals, and wreak holy havoc.

Is this Wisdom Tooth Impacted ?

The resulting condition in any case involves Tooth Pain, AND Ear Nose Throat type Pain.

I need both a dentist and a doctor who are skilled and experience in dealing with the Massive Immune System response that some patients evidence, from root canals.

The other term that is used is sinusitis.

I am living with a condition similar to that which is summarized in this medical article -

Maxillary Sinusitis of Endodontic Origin

https://www.aae.org/specialty/2018/10/01/maxillary-sinusitis-of-endodontic-origin/

I need doctors and a dentist who can help me get my oral health back.

It (my
oral health) disappeared/ was destroyed at the time of a tooth filling and resulting infection in my Upper Left Canine, #11, in July 2018.

I had a root canal on that tooth in October 2018.

The root canal tooth was removed in March 2019.

/\  Tooth #11.

I think activity level related to Tooth Pain is a relevant medical metric.

A 43 year old exercise habit ended in October 2018, because of tooth and mouth pain.

I was able to re-start a 50% version of my exercise habit in April 2019.

It appears that my own immune system may be being called upon to deal with a bacteria that the human body normally doesn't deal with until it is dead.

In any case I would like to obtain access to the imaging tools to get more information.

Also to get more information about exactly what bacteria & other organisms I may be dealing with that cause the tooth pain, lip pain, and nose pain.

Then I would like to use targeted antibiotics, if appropriate, to kill the bacteria/viruses & other pathogenic organisms that might be causing the sinusitis.

Also targeted surgery may be necessary.

There is not much point in living with teeth if you never use them because they are painful.

The American Dental Association, and sister organizations such as the American Association of Endodontists  say that Root Canals are 100% safe.

This Website is About A Terrible Dental Infection,
which started in the office of Grants Pass dentist Rae Lynn Sutton, on or about July 18, 2018.

My background is, an engineering Bachelor's in Product Design from Stanford, 1979.  I started in the wireless industry in 1980, and worked mostly on communications products and related instrumentation and military electronics.

I also have a background as a Professional Dental Patient at the Dugoni Dental School at University of Pacific in San Francisco.  I had about 25 appointments there in 2008-2009, and the students & professors were very happy to share their knowledge and to teach me about the procedures we were doing.

For me the Sutton infection is extremely interesting, in addition to being extremely painful.

If you are an Academic doctor or dentist, I would like to find a panel of doctors and dentists to consider my growing case analysis and report.

Granted the Sutton tooth infection experience has left me in a situation akin to a patient managing their own appendectomy.

Side-stepping all that, it is obvious that there are a LOT of Americans living with conditions similar to what I have experienced the last 9 months.  A study of their condition is medically relevant, as is the subject of Metrics - counting all the people who have been harmed by Root Canals, and learning from their cases.

It is obvious that this is a branch of medicine that is almost completely ignorred.

Treatment of
Maxillary Sinusitis of Endodontic Origin is something that the American medical industry really sucks at.

This is just a subset of the larger category of
Iatrogenic conditions & diseases.  This often includes patients with painful iatrogenic conditions & diseases.

Damn Interesting and yet it's ignorred - obviously on-purpose.  That itself is also
Damn Interesting.

2 people in a population of 86,000, an incidence rate of .0000232 among the general population (not the root canal population)
Given that there are 330 Million counted Americans, that indicates that there are at least 7674 patients suffering from

Maxillary Sinusitis of Endodontic Origin in the United States.

Because the condition is so ignorred, and because my meeting the other patient was so random and relatively improbably, I have a hunch that the count is higher.

How could you NOT want to study that ?!

iatrogenic ~
